Since 1980 she lives and works in the countryside of the Amazonian florest, near by Belem de Pará, in Brasil. She works in paintings and wooden objects. In 1992 she discovered ceramics and since then she lives in an continuous process of exchanging experiences with native groups of the region of the Amazonas, and the Northwest Brazilian States of Piaui and Pará. From that time on she never stopped working in ceramics which she found ist the best way to express herself, influenced by formes and colours of the nature of her surroundings.
From 1994 to 1996 she worked as director and instructor for ceramic student groups at Fundaçâo CURRO VELHO, Belem.
