color: #808080;\"><em>Text von G\u00fcnter Braunsberg<\/em><\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"font-size: 11px;\">Fotos aus dem PC Archiv und von den beteiligten K\u00fcnstlern<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Auszug aus dem Katalogtext\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">&#8222;Als die deutschst\u00e4mmige Anthropologin Inge Thieme sechs brasilianische K\u00fcnstlerinnen daf\u00fcr begeisterte sich in einem Workshop mit \u201eSambaqui\u201c auseinanderzusetzten, ahnte niemand, dass diese \u201ekleine\u201c Aktivit\u00e4t zur Initialz\u00fcndung f\u00fcr Ponte Cultura werden w\u00fcrde. So wie eine unauff\u00e4llige Quelle durch Zufl\u00fcsse bereichert wird und zum Flu\u00df, ja Strom, anwachsen kann, so entwickelte sich im Laufe zweier Jahrzehnte aus kreativen Bausteinen eine kulturelle Br\u00fccke, die von brasilianischen und deutschen K\u00fcnstlern und Kunstliebhabern getragen wird und eine kommunikative und kreative Verbindung zwischen den Kontinenten Europa und Amerika herstellt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201eWir steigen in denselben Flu\u00df und doch nicht in denselben, wir sind es und wir sind es nicht.\u201c Heraklits altbekannte Idee l\u00e4sst sich auf Ponte Cultura in mehrfacher Weise \u00fcbertragen. Zum einen entwickelte sich die 1990 ins deutsche Vereinsregister eingetragene Initiative von K\u00fcnstlerbegegnung zu K\u00fcnstlerbegegnung, von Workshop zu Workshop, von Ausstellung zu Ausstellung weiter. Die \u201eInstitution\u201c ver\u00e4nderte sich, aber auch die Beteiligten sch\u00f6pften aus den Anregungen und brachten andererseits sich selbst in den Pool gemeinsamer Ideen und Aktivit\u00e4ten ein. Zum anderen zeigte sich, dass nach der anfangs dominierenden Hinterfragung des Kunstbegriffs immer mehr die Frage nach der Zeit, ihrem schnellen oder langsamen Verflie\u00dfen, und der Realit\u00e4t und Symbolik des Wassers thematisiert wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Auffallend ist, dass das Wasser mit seinen Ver\u00e4nderungen als bildhafte Parallele zum Leben aufgefasst werden kann. Es beginnt mit der Quelle (Geburt). Es entwickelt sich vom pl\u00e4tschernd den Berg herabspringenden Bach (Kindheit) zum Flu\u00df (Jugend), der immer neue ihm zustr\u00f6mende Nebenfl\u00fcsse in sich aufnimmt &#8211; zum Strom (Reife), der breit dahinflie\u00dft, mehr oder weniger gem\u00e4chlich, auf sich selbst bezogen, die Betrachtung der Ufer erlaubend, die nicht mehr vorbeirauschen wie im Auf und Ab der hektischen Ver\u00e4nderungen des Wildbachs. Je ruhiger die Wasseroberfl\u00e4che desto mehr reflektieren darauf die Ufer, das au\u00dferhalb Liegende. Licht und Schatten k\u00f6nnen bis in die Tiefen vordringen. Der<\/p>\n<p>See (Alter) hat Zuflu\u00df und Abflu\u00df, aber er selbst flie\u00dft nicht oder kaum. Am Ende des Weges des Wassers: das Meer (Tod?). Die Wellen b\u00e4umen sich mit m\u00e4chtig geb\u00fcndelter Kraft auf. Aber andererseits ver\u00e4ndert gerade hier das Wasser seinen Agregatzustand. Es verdunstet. Wolken ziehen \u00fcber das Land. Es regnet.
