These three objects consist of knitwork, in a project begun in 2001
Big modules, a continuous network, pretty irregular grows little by little, by the simple repetition of the weaving process. Sometimes I had a feeling like being suspended in time allowing my memories and affections to flow free. The weaving grows in my lap, the transparent thread, a cocoon waiting for the matamorphosis.
Later it came a sucession of objects, entangled thread, knot getting superposed, curves,entire continents structured by lead thread weaving. This work of mine has been built slowly, by continuous construction, full ofsilence and reflection. |
