Working since 2000 exclusively with mental institution patients, my research focuses on the concept of time in psychiatric patient´s mind. The body and its signs, representations of the unavoidable passage of time are the basis for my theme- "Zeitlupe-slowmotion" . Time, especially for squizophrenic patients has a totally different, unique, slow and challenging meaning.My participation inthis presentation consists of showing this universe of dreams, where the dimension ofthe works is different. Fingers emerge from bodies and travel on wheels.
Transparency , image superimposition, scultptures and object start an open dialogue with the spectator. |
